The conference “Prospects of Social Partnership” will take place at IBB Minsk on 10 – 11 February 2012.

The conference is devoted to the results of Belarusian-German partnership during the last three years within the scope of the fifth phase of the Support Program for Belarus that was finished in December, 2011. During this time realization of 42 projects of German and Belarusian partner initiatives was supported.

The Support Program was announced by German Federal Government in 2001. The purpose of the Support Program is to encourage cooperation between German and Belarusian partner initiatives in areas appropriate to the principles of sustainable development, to improve potential for solution of local issues by means of cooperation between local government bodies and local non-government organizations, as well as to contribute to shaping of borderless Europe.

The program of the conference includes discussions on further topics:

1)    Development of social partnership, state social order, possibilities for employment of the disabled.

2)    A concept of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources

3)    Local strategies of sustainable development. Prospects of networking in the sphere of sustainable tourism

4)    Prospects of adult education in cooperation with the state education system
